The upfront fee and out-of-pocket expense that you will need to pay will depend on several factors:
1) whether you see a Clinical Psychologist or a Registered Psychologist, and
2) if you are eligible for rebates.
Under certain circumstances, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates. You will need to discuss this with your GP to determine if you are eligible or not. Under this scheme, the out-of-pocket expense for our clients is $45.00.
Many private health funds offer rebates for psychological services. You will need to check rebate details with your health fund.
Fees are payable at the time of consultation and we can offer you your Medicare rebate immediately at the time of your consultation. Cash, cheque, Credit Card and EFTPOS are all accepted methods of payment.
